We just got back from vacation, but I wanted to provide a quick update on the Kickstarter.
Right before we went on vacation we were able to ship the rest of the physical reward orders (for all who paid their shipping).
Through the shipping of all the many orders, we unfortunately did have two packages that were lost in transit. We've filed claims with USPS for those two, and the affected individuals should be receiving email notification of those claims via USPS.
There is a little bit more work to do on the non-physical rewards side, but the vast majority is finished. Thank the Lord! 🤣

Just a quick note to say that we've shipped over half the orders to-date. Alaina has been hard at work helping me build, package, and ship these orders. Our goal is to get the remainder shipped over the next two weeks!

Alaina and I were able to ship our first batch of orders early Saturday morning! It felt great!
We will be steadily working over the next few weeks to package and get the orders shipped for all the folks that have paid the shipping!

Order Fulfillment Update

This is a picture of my poor wife's photography studio, which is currently overrun with books and swag! The picture is a bit deceiving, but we're talking hundreds of books.
I was hoping to make really good progress on order fulfillment last week, but found out that I'd incorrectly configured some of setting in Backerkit. Their tech support is absolutely fantastic though, and they've helped me reconfigure everything, including an item by item breakdown of shipping weights and everything. That means that if everything goes according to plan, Backerkit should be generating an "Upcoming Shipping Charge" notification this coming Friday to every backer who is awaiting physical rewards. This charge notification will come to you via email at least 48 hours prior to the shipping charges hitting.
When the dust settles on this, we can start shipping individual orders.
There are still a few lingering non-physical rewards. One of them is the exclusive short story, written about Theros. The story is done. My goal is to get converted into an ebook format so we can get it out to all of you this week.
There are a couple other non-physical rewards, but those are backer specific and will be handled after the physical rewards are shipped.
Books have arrived!

That's right! I believe we now have all the physical goods on hand. Our house has hundreds and hundreds of books that need to be signed!
I'm going to need some serious help, so I'll be enlisting the help of my wife and kids today to start sorting and inventorying the books so we can begin building your orders.
Our tiny little shipping company will only be able to handle a handful of orders at a time, so we're just going to tackle this piece by piece. In an effort to keep the focus on signing, packing, and shipping—we'll probably only post weekly updates until we cross the finish line.
